During the Third Battle of Cephei, the NSL Carrier Von Vettinghoff managed to sweep past the end of the ESU battleline. Anticipating the break-through, the ESU admiral turned his capital ships to port, giving him perfect positioning on the carrier. NSL carriers are hard to kill, and the Von Vettinghoff survived the battle to witness the NSL victory. |

The penetration of the Kra'Vak home system by the Oceanic Colonies 7th Fleet resulted in the First Battle of Draconis. The heavy Grasers of the OC ships outranged the Kra'Vak Kinetic weapons and the result was a victory to the Oceanic Colonies. |

After the Kra'Vak recovered Draconis, they launched a heavy raid into Oceanic Colonies space. At Lacaille, the reinforced 7th Fleet smashed the Kra'Vak 2nd Host - once again the heavy Grasers of the Oceanic Colonies out-ranged the Kra'Vak Kinetic weapons. The Kra'Vak lost two Heavy Carriers and a Battleship, amongst other ships, though the Escorts were able to withdraw in good order, picking up the surviving fighter crews as they made their escape. |

The planet Wezen V was settled by Japanese colonists captured on the IJSN world of Dubhe V by the ESU. When the IJSN moved to retake Dubhe, the ESU forced the entire population aboard Colony Transports and evacuated them to the uninhabited Wezen system. The Planetary Defence Unit, usually placed in orbit to protect a population, in this case served to keep an eye on the colonists. The IJSN eventually took Wezen and rescued their lost colonists. |

The Eurasian Solar Union 10th Fleet launches the latest attack on the Neu Swabian League colony of Cephei I (right of frame with orbital Planetary Defence Units). After the NSL fighters took out the ESU fighters in a massed furball (center of frame), they expended themselves on several of the heavier ESU ships. The four NSL Fighter Carriers (right corner - actually an NSL Carrier model with two UNSC SDN/Carriers and an ESU Carrier model filling in) then fought their way through the ESU center before being destoyed. The colony then fell to the ESU. |
